Kerala Food Court, Cambridge – Where Flavours Meet Heartfelt Hospitality Back again at Kerala Food Court, and this visit was made memorable not just by the food, but by the warm, graceful presence of Riya Ashish, my server for the day. A beautiful, soft-spoken Malayali woman with a radiant smile, Riya did more than just take my order—she understood my Bombay palate, engaged in genuine conversation, and made thoughtful suggestions that truly enhanced the experience. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such natural charm and customer care. I went for the Kozhi Biryani served on a banana leaf and the Pomfret fish, both recommended by her—and she absolutely nailed it. The biryani was aromatic, layered, and flavourful, while the pomfret was fresh, delicately spiced, and grilled to perfection. Both dishes deserve a solid 4.5/5. The restaurant’s newly renovated interiors bring a refreshing, modern Kerala vibe—clean, creative, and welcoming. It’s clear the owner has kept the soul of the place intact while also raising the bar on service by choosing the right people to represent the brand. Every visit to Kerala Food Court feels like a return to something familiar and comforting. And with people like Riya around, it’s not just a meal—it’s an experience. See you soon, again and again!

I tried the fish biryani at Kerala Food Court, and it was a delightful experience. The biryani had a mild masala flavor, with spices perfectly balanced and evenly distributed. While I usually prefer spicy biryani, this mild version offered a refreshing take on the dish, allowing the rich spices to shine in a new way. The chef’s expertise is evident in the marination of the fried fish, which was juicy, well-cooked, and impressively large—fitting snugly into the takeout container. The staff were friendly and proactive, the dining area was clean and classy, and the washrooms were well-maintained with all necessary supplies. It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying their meals. Kerala Food Court truly offers a fantastic dining experience! Must try items. - Kappa beef (kappa biryani) - Crab roast (Juicy and spicy with generous portion size) - Chicken and Fish biryani.

Very good value, lots of protein for the price. Very flavorful dishes without being overwhelmingly spicy or only spicy. The porotta bread is very delicious and flaky as well. Biryani was delicious as well. Lots left for leftovers the next day. The strawberry juice and the lime juice was delicious as well.

Best Kerala food I ever had. And I have spent a few months of my life in Kerala. My friends and I were also very hungry that day. They can be very busy and crowded at peak lunch hours, so be prepared to wait. But the food is worth it. The waiters seemed to be overloaded but were very kind and polite to customers. We had some biriyani, chicken curry, prawns and quintessential Kerala parathas. The egg puffs were great too!

Today, I had the pleasure of dining at Kerala Food Court in Cambridge, and it was a truly delightful experience. We tried their special biriyani, fish pollichathu, porotta, and pepper chicken roast, all of which were flavorful and authentic. The spices and preparation reminded me of the rich culinary traditions of Kerala. The highlight of our meal was the Kerala-style coffee, which my wife ordered. It was absolutely amazing! It had the distinct taste of the coffee served in Kerala's iconic thattukadas (street-side stalls), with a special brewed flavor that brought back nostalgic memories of my time in Kerala. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Kerala cuisine, I would highly recommend Kerala Food Court. Don’t miss out on their coffee—it’s a must-try item that will transport you back to the heart of Kerala.
